The name Hibiki means "resonance" in Japanese. It resonates with the subtleties of nature infused by the twenty-four seasons of Japan's traditional calendar and reflected in the twenty-four facets of the bottle's design. A noble blend of innumerous malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's globally acclaimed distilleries, Hibiki is meticulously blended to create a sense of "wa" -- a oneness which unveils a full orchestra of flavours and aroma.

In all it's non-chill filtered glory without added colour, this is the king of Speyside's DNA in a bottle. Nose: Layered aromas of rich blackcurrant jam, juicy apricot, Pink lady apple, vanilla and poached pear. Palate: An incredibly creamy palate of heather honey, milk chocolate, orchard fruits and gingerbread. It's a higher-strength whisky, but the extra first-fill flavour and lack of chill filtration adds to the seamlessness of the dram - even so, feel free to adjust it to your preference with a drop or two of water. To really blow your mind, try it with a piece of milk chocolate to bring out even more spice and depth.

The ultimate boilermaker was created exclusively for us by Stomping Ground and Westward. After maturation in the cask, the porter was decanted, with Westward's single malt swapped in to receive an extended maturation of it's own before being bottled at what we judged to be the ideal ABV of 50% for full flavour. Nose: Coconut cream, vanilla sponge and honeyed apricots. Palate: Chocolate fudge, burnt sticky toffee and fresh coconut with a hint of raspberry leaf.
